Weddings, Birthdays, School events and Private Parties. What to expect.

I'll work with you to make your event one you'll remember for a lifetime. I'll bring a sound system, microphones and most importantly..... THE MUSICIANS! Live music is what makes old time square dances really special and it is such an easy way to add hours of LIVE MUSIC to your event! Nothing gets people moving more than traditional old time tunes being played by a a fiddle, upright bass and a guitar, banjo or mandolin! For weddings and birthdays, I usually suggest the band play an hour or so during cocktail hour then take a short break before the dance. This way you will have a chance to enjoy traditional old-time fiddle music relaxing with a drink, then you' can have a whole other part of the night where I will teach easy and fun square dances. We can tailor the dance to your preferences but I suggest at least an hour and no more than 3 hours of dancing. Since the band members are an extra cost and that is something to consider, I can work within your budget to tailor a square dance to fit your particular private event. I have done dances with as little as one fiddle player and one guitar player and dances with bands as big as 6 people!
