Jeremy Grant Horton - Let's Have an Old-Time Square Dance!

Jeremy has been calling old-time square dances in and around Southern California since 2016. He believes square dancing is the perfect community activity because there's no need for a partner, there's no age restrictions and ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. He just needs some live old-time music and a flat place for folks to stomp around a bit! Jeremy is passionate about getting new folks to the dance and believes first-timers and newbies actually have the most fun!

Jeremy has called dances in bars, barns, dance halls, kitchens, parks, rodeos, porches and rooftops. Some notable festival appearances include: The Long Beach Folk Festival, The Topanga Fiddle Contest, The Los Angeles Old Time Social and the North Park Square Dance series in San Diego. His personal passion project is an all-ages summer dance series located in Griffith park. Jeremy also plays guitar and tours Internationally with The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers.

Jeremy is eager to call and or organize a square dance at your upcoming wedding, birthday, community gathering or private event! Jeremy's broad network of old-time musicians enables him to put together a live band to suit your event. So if you don't have musicians lined up don't worry!
